2019 chevy colorado temperature gauge not working.

Coolant temperature issues and questions. I use torque pro app. I've noticed these issues. Torque reads 95* when the dash gauge starts climbing off the 160* mark. When the gauge is maxed at 195*. Torque reads 160*. Torque will hit 190* before the thermostat opens up. Then averages 175* for the remainder of the trip.Picked up a brand new 2021 Ranger XLT yesterday and already have an issue.
