It took me 3 weeks of grinding Master Wellspring to get the exotic warlock glaive to drop, the hunter one took about 2 hours, it's rng and that's all it is. Awful and weapon crafting blows. The rng to get the right patter to open the weapon to craft blows it all sucks takes the fun out of the game.

The ones required for that quest need to be completed twice. World drops require 5 resonance completions. Look at your Triumphs under Patterns and Catalysts. It will tell you how many red weapons you need to unlock for each weapon. You do need several patterns for the pattern to be unlocked for certain weapons.The 1st glaive pattern comes from a mission, the other 2 randomly drop from Wellsprings.
