I have a Woods BH750 that I use on my Ford 3000. It is TOO big for my 8N, in my opinion. My 3000 is a thousand pounds heavier than my 8N. The hoe can push the 3000 all over if I try, that would be even worse on the 8N. That said, a bock hoe is SOOooo NICE to have for many reasons. If you can find a hoe that is not too big for the 8N, GO FOR IT!To much resistance and the tractor may not start. A better idea is to gut out the old 6 volt square can coil and convert to using a real 12 volt round can no resister needed oil filled coil. Hobo's web site shows how to do this.
