Madden 23 offensive coordinator glitch.
GLITCH/BUG. Sorry if this has been answered, but has anyone figured out how to fix the no offensive coordinators available to hire glitch? I'm several seasons in, and now I don't have any OCs available to hire. I've tried hiring multiple DCs and firing them, but they don't appear in the OCs list.
I switched to another team and immediately back. In that time, 5 trades of top players (including a 91 Elu/87 Pow/79 Rec 3rd yr RB w/ 2 years left on contract) was completed by the computer. 2 90+ OL. Also released an 85 CB. 4 starting players all gone, got a few 2nd and 4th rd picks. I'm so livid. Madden needs to fix this glitch, pronto. To access this glitch, when on offense and choosing a play, head over to the Colts playbook. Under the Formation tab, select Single Back Wing Slot and pick the play PA Double Dig. I did this last night, make sure you have the vacancy, go to manage staff then click hire offensive/defensive coordinator whichever you're going for. Then you should be on 'ALL' and all the options displayed, if you go to the end of the list it should be the most recent fired coaches. You can retire but choose switch roles, pick a non controlled team to take over fire their coordinator the retire again switch roles take your original team back and hire that coordinator Basically you need to FIRE your OC the week of the SB... then go to FILL spots on menu to [re]hire the OC (before advancing). Then you can hire (or re-hire) the OC, and you will not get stuck with the FATAL ERROR (you need to repeat ever year). The CPU will auto generate a new OC. Online will be a bit more tricky. You need to have a second user join the franchise and fire the OC (cannot be someone who will be managing a team as they will have the same problem.).
