Hello I bought a rav 4 3s engine some months back, it's was unfortunate l didn't drove it for long before it started giving me problems. The car started losing power and fuel consumption became abnormal, so l was advised by the mechanic to change the filters which l had bought and was changed but the car has become worse to the extent of not starting but cranks nomally.After three hours of dis-assembling and re-assembling the front end of the car again, we were able to repair the wire. Now it starts like a champ". May be worth a look. Besides that double check that either the 120 amp or 140 amp alternator fuse (depending on if you have a tow package or not) is not blown.See the video of it cranking.
